About us
The Memorial Foundation is the fundraising arm of our health system and exists to allow Memorial Hospital to extend its mission of medical excellence further into our community. More than 2,000 individuals, corporations, foundations and organizations make gifts to us each year, enabling Memorial to expand programs, offer educational services and purchase innovative medical equipment. Founded in 2001, the Memorial Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which operates exclusively to steward philanthropic gifts for Memorial.
Our Mission
As CommonSpirit - Memorial Foundation, we make the healing presence of God known in our world by improving the health of the people we serve, especially those who are vulnerable, while we advance social justice for all.
The Power of Community. Our community comes together to be stronger. There are certainly individual heroes in the Chattanooga area, but we can do amazing things when we all put our efforts and energy toward a common goal. A goal that is making our community a better place for all. The donors, volunteers, physicians and associated staff at Memorial have demonstrated the power of coming together for the common good in uncommon ways over the past year. We have made contributions of our financial resources, our valuable time and every last ounce of energy to work long hours caring for patients. Join us as we continue our mission to provide the highest quality care for our patients and families. Together we are stronger.
